Do you take precautions while charging your mobile phones?

Here are some important fire safety tips to follow while using mobile phone chargers:

  • Do not place chargers in places that may get very hot and pose a risk of a fire
  • Always follow battery usage, storage and charging guidelines found in the User’s Guide
  • Don’t plug mobile chargers for a prolonged period of time as it can heat up and pose a risk of starting a fire
  • Take out the charger from the powerpoint once your phone is charged to avoid a continued generation of heat and possibility of a fire incident
  • Do not leave charging phones on beds, pillows, mattresses as it can also heat up and pose risk of starting a fire
