The National Fire Authority (NFA) attended to a fire incident at Happy Garden Restaurant in Nabua, Suva last night.

At 2019hrs, Suva Fire Station received a fire call and immediately responded to the call. Upon arrival at 2024hrs, the Fire Team saw the restaurant on fire. The Fire Team used deliveries of water from the fire trucks to extinguish the fire and stopped the fire from completely destroying the restaurant and nearby buildings.

Three fire trucks were engaged to put out the fire. NFA investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
