On the evening of August 23rd, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the World Humanitarian Day function was held at the Tanoa Hotel. This significant event, organized by the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO), brought together organizations dedicated to humanitarian efforts.
A noteworthy highlight of the event was the National Fire Authority (NFA) receiving a certificate as the 2nd runner-up in the Category 4 award. This recognition Honors Government Agencies that promote Gender Inclusivity.
This award reflects the NFA's commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and advancing gender equality within its operations. The framed certificate will be formally presented to the Permanent Secretary on Monday.
