 The Suva Fire Station was opened by the Lord Mayor of Suva, the Hon. Scott K.C. on the 30th of November, 1922.

Later, the station was renovated and extended and was officially opened by the late Vunivalu of Bau, Hon. Ratu G.K. Cakobau O.B.E. J.P on the 11th of September, 1968.
